Which Silverado Grille Emblem Fits My Truck? A Year-by-Year Guide

Silverado grille emblems look alike, but the mounting changed with almost every body style. Find your truck's year below, check the notes, and you'll know which bowtie fits before you order.

2007 is the tricky year
Chevy sold two different Silverados in 2007. The 2007 Classic is the older body carried over for part of the year, and it takes the 2003–2007 Classic emblem. The 2007 new body takes the 2007–2013 emblem. If you aren't sure which one you have, look at the grille: the Classic has the bowtie set into a horizontal bar across the middle, while the new body has a larger, squarer grille opening around it.
HD trucks changed in 2011
The 2500 and 3500 HD got a new grille in 2011, a few years before the 1500. A 2007–2010 HD uses the same emblem as the 2007–2013 1500. A 2011–2014 HD needs the HD-specific emblem.
Tailgate emblem
Our rear tailgate bowtie fits the Silverado 1500 2010–2013, the 2500/3500 HD 2011–2014, and the Avalanche 2007–2013. If you have a 2007–2009 Silverado 1500 or a 2007–2010 HD, message us before ordering and we'll confirm the fit. We don't currently offer a tailgate emblem for the 2003–2007 Classic.
LED or non-LED?
Most of our grille emblems come in a non-LED version that installs exactly like the stock badge, and a lighted LED version that needs a power wire run to a 12V source. If you're not comfortable with wiring, the non-LED version is a straight swap.
